Derek Bildf ell

President & Chief Executive Officer

Derek joined Consumer Contact as President in 2005. He has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, including managing global marketing and business development teams within IBM Software Group. Prior to Consumer Contact, Derek was COO of a software consulting company specializing in enterprise solutions architecture.

Derek has a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and an MBA from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Derek has leveraged customer service excellence throughout his career and is one of our Net Promoter® Certified Associates.

Don Ambrose

Chairman
A graduate of the University of Alberta, Don has been active in the marketing research community for over 40 years. Don’s background includes 5 years as a “full service” supplier at a major marketing research company and 9 years as a marketing research “buyer” at two financial institutions. He was President of Consumer Contact from 1979 to 2001 and assumed the role of Chairman in 2002.

Don currently serves as the Canadian delegate to the international committee overseeing ISO standards for marketing research.

Gord Ripley

Vice President, Business Development
Gord leads the Business Development team to ensure the continued growth of the Consumer Contact and ResearchByNet businesses. Gord is a Net Promoter® Certified Associate.

A graduate of Dalhousie University in Sociology, Gord has held data management and client service responsibilities at Consumer Contact since 1992. Prior to this he worked in Transportation Research and Demand Forecasting at the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario.

Karen Bradley

Vice President, Operations
Karen is responsible for the ongoing operation and manpower development of Consumer Contact’s data collection facilities including five Call Centers with 470 CATI stations.

A graduate of George Brown College with a diploma in Marketing and Business Administration, she joined Consumer Contact in 1979. Karen has hands on experience in virtually every facet of field and data processing operations and has held key management positions in production, field, tabulation and client service.

Javier Paz

Vice President, Finance & Administration

Javier is responsible for all Accounting and Finance functions at Consumer Contact, along with Quality Control, Human Resources Coordination and Office Services. A graduate of Pacifico University in Lima, Peru and a Certified General Accountant (CGA), Javier joined Consumer Contact in 1990.
